Experts wrong about milk!

The most ideal choices are products made from raw, unpasteurized milk, as the pasteurization process destroys many valuable nutrients. Pasteurization also destroys lactase, the enzyme responsible for the breakdown of lactose. Many people with lactose intolerance have no problem drinking raw milk, because it has lactase in it.  

One particularly stunning example of the latter is the US Food and Drug Administration’s ban on the interstate sale of raw, which is to say unpasteurized, milk. According to the FDA, the ban is necessary because “raw milk can contain a wide variety of harmful bacteria, including Listeria, E.coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Yersinia, and Brucella.” 

Like so much government disinformation, that claim is only partially correct. Bovine milk can become contaminated with anything after it leaves the cow’s udder due to unclean milking or handling processes but to suggest that milk from healthy cattle naturally teems with such nasties is disingenuous.

Some groups of humans have consumed the milk of cows and other mammals for thousands of years. Consuming animal milk may have helped human immune systems adapt to living intimately with ungulates, a major source of meat, muscle power, and fertilizer in addition to milk and its sundry cognates. The oldest confirmed production of cheese dates from 7,200 years ago!

Genes that allow people to digest milk throughout their lives became more prominent in many populations with access to animal milk, so we know that it helped them to survive and reproduce. (People who don’t possess those genes are called lactose intolerant.) It proves that being able to drink mammal milk throughout life on net helps people with access to milk.

Well it proves that drinking raw milk from grass-fed ungulates, the form of milk that humans consumed for thousands of years, benefits people. 

  • For decades, Americans have been told to avoid whole milk due to its saturated fat content, which has been falsely accused of clogging arteries and causing heart disease. This guidance goes back to the first edition of the dietary guidelines, issued in 1980, and most studies performed since then have exonerated full-fat whole milk
  • Most studies have found that dairy products are associated with lower risks of high blood pressure, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes, regardless of fat content. And even though full-fat dairy products have higher calorie content, they don’t appear to contribute to weight gain either
  • A 2018 Lancet study found that, compared to those who did not consume dairy (milk, yogurt and cheese), those who consumed two or more servings per day were 17% less likely to die from any cause, 23% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease, and 34% less likely to die from a stroke
  • Another large-scale trial found those with the highest levels of milk fats in their diet had a 29% lower incidence of Type 2 diabetes

In fact, most studies have found that dairy products are associated with lower risks of high blood pressure, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes, regardless of fat content. What’s more, even though full-fat dairy products have higher calorie content, they don’t appear to contribute to weight gain, either.

However, dairy products and dairy fat also contain potentially beneficial compounds — including specific amino acids, medium-chain and odd-chain saturated fats, milk fat globule phospholipids, unsaturated and branched-chain fats ... vitamin K1 and K2, and calcium — and can contain probiotics, many of which also affect health outcomes.

Therefore, the net effect of dairy intake on health outcomes might not be reliably informed solely from its effect on a single risk marker (i.e., LDL cholesterol) or fatty acids.”

The authors also review the results from previous meta-analyses,4 none of which were able to discern a significant problem with dairy. For example, one meta-analysis of cohort studies found higher milk intake lowered the risk of high blood pressure while having “a neutral effect on cardiovascular disease.”

The DASH trial also found a link between milk consumption and reduced blood pressure. Other meta-analyses have punctured the LDL argument as well. One such analysis, which included 20 randomized trials, found a “non-significant” increase in LDL cholesterol among those who consumed either low-fat or high-fat dairy products. Ditto for cheese.

One potential reason for this is because milk fat is packaged in globule phospholipids, which help bind cholesterol in your digestive tract.5,6

No Need to Avoid Full-Fat Dairy

According to The New York Times,8 an independent panel of nutrition experts is currently reviewing the evidence9 on how saturated fat consumption affects your cardiovascular disease risk. Their findings may eventually result in updated dietary guidelines, with regard to dairy.

In the meantime, Penny Kris-Etherton, Professor Emeritus of nutritional sciences at Pennsylvania State University, recommends three servings of dairy per day as part of a balanced diet, and “Based on the most recent dairy fat data ... it’s probably OK if one or two of those servings are whole-fat milk, yogurt or cheese.”10

Curiously, Kris-Etherton still recommends plant-based oils like canola oil, soybean oil and margarine instead of butter, which is flat-out horrible advice, as these oils are loaded with mitochondrial-destroying linoleic acid (LA), which appears to be one of the primary drivers of chronic disease. Shingles responds well to safe and healthy vitamin C injections!

Vitamin c provides great results for shingles Dr. Frederick Klenner’s success with the use of vitamin C to combat a number of infections and toxic invaders is astounding, including his published work with eight patients with shingles. Each person was given 2,000 to 3,000 mg of vitamin C injection every 12 hours, in addition to 1,000 mg in fruit juice given orally every two hours. Seven of the eight patients reported complete relief of pain associated with shingles within two hours of receiving the first vitamin C injection. Overall, the patients received from five to seven injections of vitamin C. Blisters associated with the virus began healing quickly, and were completely gone with the first 72 hours. Dr. Klenner’s observations are supported by findings of other researchers as well, both before and after he had published his work. An earlier study reported success with 14 shingles patients receiving vitamin C injections. In a 1950 report, shingles completely disappeared in an astounding 327 out of 327 patients – just 72 hours after they had received vitamin C injections.

Are You aware That You Are A victim of Eco-terrorism?   I am retired and have a lot more time than most of you to watch documentaries and research what should be matters of concern to all of us.  Before my retirement I had little opportunity to do a lot of what I would like to do regarding health and nutrition.  Most of my free time was filled with entertainment of one sort or another.  Today I do a lot more studying the Bible and reading technical articles on health and nutrition.  I know many people in this situation find it is most important to provide a living for the family and there's little time left for pursuing hobbies.  As a result, entertainment is very important for stress relief.  I said all that, because I want to point out that I've had a great deal of time to devote to research on these subjects; especially since I burned my hand and became partially disabled.  So, regarding the heading of this article, I felt it necessary to give you a heads up with regard to matters so serious that we need to find time to acquaint ourselves with the facts.

note: I used an all natural treatment to heal my hand and there is no evidence    of  scarring. 

  The eco-terrorism that I am addressing is in regard to "chemtrails"; not contrails.  We have all seen them and had some questions about them because most of us know that ice particulates do not remain unevaporated across a wide expanse of the sky.  What we have seen are trails from one horizon to another crisscrossed and at times exhibiting circular patterns.  These trails raise questions in our minds especially since they do not mimic known cloud patterns or normal weather behavior.  

   Though I always had questions about what most people have long considered to be a weather phenomena, Dr. Jonathan Landsman brought two documentaries to my attention that explain what this is and why it is important to all of us.

   Below are two links to these documentaries.  To emphasize how important this matter is, let me remind you of how important agent orange is to Vietnam veterans.  

   Of course the purpose of agent orange (developed by Monsanto)in Vietnam was to defoliate the jungle.  Did this process have unintended consequences?  Absolutely.  This is just one example of the use of chemtrails that has been going on for some time and used by various entities. (military admits it)  These documentaries detail what is being dropped on us and why.  It's far reaching effects can be devastating.  At the very least, we must all be aware of them.

    Aerosol geoengineering has been used in conjunction with the well known HAARP project. HAARP is an antenna array, located northeast of Anchorage, Alaska, designed to test the response of a patch of the ionosphere at varying altitudes to the application of a few mW/sq m excitation in the high frequency (HF) radio band. One known effect is the generation of extremely low frequency (ELF) radio waves through modulated heating. By turning the HAARP array off and on (or more simply, by wiggling the focal point around in a repetitive pattern, a procedure known as geometric modulation), the local ionospheric temperature rises and falls, changing the conductivity in that portion of the ionosphere at whatever frequency corresponds to the pattern. The frequencies are typically in the vicinity of a few to a few hundred Hertz.

 Consumers are finally becoming more aware that most of these food producing corporate giants have not been diligently taking care that their products are without contamination and neither are they at all concerned that they should be healthy or nutritious.  This, in spite of their advertised claims of being both healthy and nutritious. We are glad to know that some producers are listening and responding to consumer demands for safe products. 

For example, in recent years, trans fats have been removed from most products, although some of them sneakily maintain 1% or less in their products, which is allowed by law. It is a shame that the FDA is behind consumers in recognizing the danger of hydrogenating oils. They have finally moved to ban them.  "Cheerios" have recently announced their product is now free of genetically modified ingredients.  Post cereals are producing a GMO free version of "Grape Nuts", although they still produce the "Original" version that does contain genetically modified grain. They can't resist poking their finger in the eye of consumers by making the claim with that "Original" label, that "Grape Nuts" always contained GM grains. "Grape Nuts" were around long before there was such a thing as GM grains. What their producers are missing, that they used to have, is a conscience. We have to be more and more careful of off-the- shelf boxed food. We need to eat fresh, whenever possible. Convenience foods, like cereal, can be hazardous to your health. Consumer Reports supports mandatory GMO labeling

“Despite this consumer demand, there are no requirements for labeling genetically engineered ingredients in processed foods and there is extremely limited safety testing required. How do I get people to listen to the danger of consuming the standard foods being offered at Walmart, Kroger's, Food Lion, etc.???  Maybe you will listen to "Food Babe"...  Probably not, but I keep trying.  Undoubtedly, the best way to protect your own health and that of your family is to eat organic, preferably locally grown meat and produce. If you are accustomed to eating anything in a box, you might as well go back to the old medical practice of "bleeding",  because you are slowly killing yourself.  There are enough things out there that are killing you, such as environmental toxins, workplace hazards, stress, prescription drugs, vaccines,  etc., so why do people not see the potential danger from what you put in your face every day?  The biggest objection I normally hear is the cost.  Actually, if you use some of the common sense suggestions from the "Food Babe" web site, you can eat healthy at a relatively small extra cost. 

   Then again, think of it this way;  we spend a lot of our food budget eating out.  Why not cut back on consuming restaurant food of questionable quality and safety.  Put that money into preparing your own home made meals, knowing what's in them?  I also hear the "time" argument. It is too time consuming preparing meals from scratch.  Yet we go to a restaurant and wait an hour or more for our meal, that may have been dropped on the floor before it came to your table.  Often, at some restaurants, you have to wait in line just to be seated at a table and then more time to get waited on.  Why not involve the whole family in choosing and trying various home prepared organic foods.  When you taste the quality and know the source, everything is better, including the enjoyment of being involved in the preparation. It is worth giving up some other luxuries, like occasional movies or whatever else you might do that cost you money that you don't actually need to spend. Aren't you worth it?...or do you think so little of yourself that polluting your body with processed foods, chemicals, pesticides and Genetically modified foods is acceptable?

What is Causing Breast Cancer in Young Women?

No one knows for sure, but it’s fairly safe to say that there are likely multiple contributors, many of them environmentally based. Cancer Research UK has singled out hormonal factors, such as having children later in life, having fewer children or taking birth control pills, as probable culprits, for instance.

This makes sense, as in 2002 one of the largest and best-designed studies of hormone replacement therapy was halted because women taking these synthetic hormones had such a higher risk of breast cancer (and heart attack, stroke and blood clots) that continuing forward with the study would have been unethical.

The news made headlines because millions of women were already taking these synthetic hormones, but fortunately it prompted many of them to quit. And what do you think happened a year after millions of women quit taking hormone replacement therapy? Incidence of breast cancer fell dramatically -- by 7 percent!

What does this have to do with the Pill? Birth control pills contain the SAME type of synthetic hormones -- estrogen and progestin -- that were used in the ill-fated study!

Even women who aren’t taking birth control pills are exposed to synthetic hormones that have become increasingly widespread in recent years. 

For instance, parabens are chemicals with estrogen-like properties, and estrogen is one of the hormones involved in the development of breast cancer. Parabens are widely used in personal care products like shampoo, lotion, deodorant, shaving gel and cosmetics.

These chemicals have been detected in breast cancer tissues at concentrations up to 1 million times higher than the estrogen (estradiol) levels naturally found in human breast tissue.3 Propylparaben, in particular, was found in the highest concentration in the underarm area (axilla), where underarm deodorants are most used and breast cancer prevalence is at its highest.

Clearly these chemicals are accumulating at alarmingly high concentrations, likely because of their widespread and persistent daily use. And exposure often begins as early as in the womb, the health effects of which are completely unknown.

Another Breast Cancer Risk Hiding in Your Milk …

Not only are children and young women inundated with hormone-mimicking chemicals in personal care products, but such potentially cancer-causing chemicals are also found in a dietary staple for many: milk.

RBGH, or recombinant bovine growth hormone, is a synthetic version of natural bovine somatotropin (BST), a hormone produced in cows' pituitary glands. RBGH is the largest selling dairy animal drug in the US, where cows are injected with it to boost their milk production. But it is banned in Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and in the 27 countries of the European Union because of its dangers to human health.

RBGH milk contains increased levels of insulin growth factor-1 (IGF-1). IGF-1 regulates cell growth, cell division, and the ability of cancer cells to spread to your distant organs (invasiveness). In other words, IGF-1 has potent growth-stimulating effects in human breast tissue, especially 

in the presence of estradiol (a form of estrogen). Growth factors such as IGF-1 are "catalysts" for the transformation of normal breast tissue into breast cancer tissue, and are critically involved in the aberrant growth of human breast cancer cells.

One study showed that premenopausal women with elevated IGF-1 levels had up to a seven-fold increase in breast cancer.4 And separate research showed women younger than age 35 who have elevated IGF-1 have more aggressive breast cancer.5

The breast tissues of female fetuses and infants are especially sensitive to hormonal influences and cancer-causing chemicals. Infants and children exposed to high IGF-1 early on may become "sensitized," leading to health problems later in life, such as breast enlargement in infants and young children, and breast cancer in adult women. Yet, despite these elevated risks to children, few schools make rBGH-free or organic milk available, nor do most state governments under low-income food programs

Toxic Insults, Nutritional Deficiencies Behind Many Breast Cancer Cases

The primary causes of breast cancer -- nutritional deficiencies, exposure to environmental toxicity, inflammation, estrogen dominance and the resultant breakdown in genetic integrity and immune surveillance – still manifest as disease primarily among those over 50. However, the toxic insults are now hitting younger generations, who are much more susceptible to their adverse health effects.

For instance, girls who receive radiation to the chest to treat childhood cancer have a high risk of developing breast cancer at a young age, according to research. Even those who received low doses of the common cancer treatment face an increased risk of breast cancer later, the scientists said.

Plus, in the US, women are still urged to get an annual mammogram starting at the age of 40, despite the fact that updated guidelines set forth by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force in 2009 urge women to wait until the age of 50, and to only get bi-annual screening thereafter.

The primary hazard of mammography is ionizing radiation that may actually increase your cancer risk. According to a 2010 study,6 annual screening using digital or screen-film mammography on women aged 40–80 years is associated with an inducedcancer incidence and fatal breast cancer rate of 20-25 cases per 100, 000.  This means annual mammograms cause 20-25 cases of fatal cancer for every 100,000 women getting the test. And now with the “new and improved” 3D TOMOSYNTHESIS mammogram, women will be exposed to even more radiation.

Screening Ultrasound Catches Cancers Missed by Mammography

Many women are unaware that if they have dense breast tissue (40 to 50 percent of women), mammograms are basically useless for them. Dense breast tissue and cancer both appear white on an X-ray, making it nearly impossible for a radiologist to detect cancer in these women. It’s like trying to find a snowflake in a blizzard.

Some radiologists already provide density information to their patients, and encourage them to utilize other screening options like thermography, ultrasound and/or MRI. Recent research, in fact, revealed that for women with dense breasts, receiving a screening breast ultrasound after mammography detected an additional 3.4 cancer or high-risk lesions per 1,000 women screened.7

I believe it reasonable for a woman to trust that her radiologist is not withholding vital density information, however only California, Connecticut, New York, Virginia and Texas have passed laws making it mandatory for radiologists to inform their patients about this issue. Unfortunately, many have kept this potentially lifesaving data from women for decades, and our government agencies have failed to protect them from this unethical practice.

Top Breast Cancer Prevention Strategies

Cancer screening does NOT equate to cancer prevention, and although early detection is important, using a screening method that in and of itself increases your risk of developing cancer is simply not good medicine ... Preventing breast cancer is far more important and powerful than simply trying to detect it after it has already formed, which is why I want to share my top tips on how to help prevent this disease in the first place.

In the largest review of research into lifestyle and breast cancer, the American Institute of Cancer Research estimated that about 40 percent of US breast cancer cases could be prevented if people made wiser lifestyle choices.8 I believe these estimates are far too low, and it is more likely that 75 percent to 90 percent of breast cancers could be avoided by strictly applying the recommendations below, which are the same for young women and older women alike.

  • Avoid sugar, especially fructose. All forms of sugar are detrimental to health in general and promote cancer. Fructose, however, is clearly one of the most harmful and should be avoided as much as possible.
  • Optimize your vitamin DVitamin D influences virtually every cell in your body and is one of nature's most potent cancer fighters; recent research suggests maintaining your vitamin D levels may cut your cancer risk by 77 percent. Vitamin D is actually able to enter cancer cells and trigger apoptosis (programmed cell death). If you have cancer, your vitamin D level should be between 70 and 100 ng/ml.

    Remember that if you take oral vitamin D3 supplements, you also need to increase your vitamin K2 intake, as vitamin D increases the need for K2 to function properly. See my previous article What You Need to Know About Vitamin K2, D and Calcium for more information.

  • Get plenty of natural vitamin A. There is evidence that vitamin A also plays a role in helping prevent breast cancer.9 It's best to obtain it from vitamin A-rich foods, rather than a supplement. Your best sources are organic egg yolks, raw butter, raw whole milk, and beef or chicken liver.
  • Lymphatic breast massage can help enhance your body’s natural ability to eliminate cancerous toxins. This can be applied by a licensed therapists, or you can implement self-lymphatic massage. It is also promotes self-nurturance.
  • Avoid charring your meats. Charcoal or flame-broiled meat is linked with increased breast cancer risk. Acrylamide — a carcinogen created when starchy foods are baked, roasted or fried — has been found to increase breast cancer risk as well.
  • Avoid unfermented soy products. Unfermented soy is high in plant estrogens, or phytoestrogens, also known as isoflavones. In some studies, soy appears to work in concert with human estrogen to increase breast cell proliferation, which increases the chances for mutations and cancerous cells. It is believed that fermentation actually transforms soy phytoestrogens like daidzin, glycitin and genistin to the more active phytogestrogenic compounds dadzein, glycitein and genistein.  But, these phytoestrogens are adaptopgenic and can even block out endogenous estradiol and xenobiotic estrogens, reducing their harm as least in theory.
  • Improve your insulin receptor sensitivity. The best way to do this is by avoiding sugar and grains and making sure you are exercising, especially with Peak Fitness.
  • Maintain a healthy body weight. This will come naturally when you begin eating right for your nutritional type and exercising. It's important to lose excess body fat because fat produces estrogen.
  • Drink a half to whole quart of organic green vegetable juice daily. Please review my juicing instructions for more detailed information.
  • Get plenty of high-quality animal-based omega-3 fats, such as krill oil. Omega-3 deficiency is a common underlying factor for cancer.
  • Curcumin. This is the primary active ingredient in turmeric and in high concentrations, especially when combined with a phospholipid such as phosphatidyl choline or the black pepper compound piperine, can be very useful adjunct in the treatment of breast cancer. It shows immense therapeutic potential in preventing breast cancer metastasis.10 It's important to know that curcumin is generally not absorbed that well, so I've provided several absorption tips here.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol, or at least limit your alcoholic drinks to one per day.
  • Breastfeed exclusively for up to six months. Research shows breastfeeding can reduce your breast cancer risk.
  • Avoid wearing underwire bras. There is a good deal of data that metal underwire bras can heighten your breast cancer risk.
  • Avoid electromagnetic fields as much as possible. Even electric blankets may increase your cancer risk.
  • Avoid synthetic hormone replacement therapy. Breast cancer is an estrogen-related cancer, and according to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, breast cancer rates for women dropped in tandem with decreased use of hormone replacement therapy. (As mentioned, there are similar risks for younger women who use oral contraceptives. Birth control pills, which are also comprised of synthetic hormones, have been linked to cervical and breast cancers.)
  • If you are experiencing excessive menopausal symptoms, you may want to consider bioidentical hormone replacement therapy instead, which uses hormones that are molecularly identical to the ones your body produces and do not wreak havoc on your system. This is a much safer alternative.

  • Avoid BPA, phthalates and other xenoestrogens. These are estrogen-like compounds that have been linked to increased breast cancer risk
  • Make sure you're not iodine deficient, as there's compelling evidence linking iodine deficiency with breast cancer. Dr. David Brownstein,11 author of the book Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It, is a proponent of iodine for breast cancer. It actually has potent anticancer properties and has been shown to cause cell death in breast and thyroid cancer cells.
  • For more information, I recommend reading Dr. Brownstein's book. I have been researching iodine for some time ever since I interviewed Dr. Brownstein as I do believe that the bulk of what he states is spot on. However, I am not at all convinced that his dosage recommendations are correct. I believe they are likely too high.

    Is Soy really a health food?  The picture shown here is the unripened soybean 

    called edamame. Some say it is the safe, non GMO soybean that may offer some health benefits (vegans in particular). Nearly all soybeans and soybean products like soybean oil, on the market now, are genetically modified. Enough is known about GM products to scare anyone with half a brain. Of course the problem is most people know little or nothing about the dangers and have only heard the industry propaganda put out by Monsanto. It is alarming at the extensive use of soybean oil by food producers and manufacturers. Read the labels on cookies, crackers, all snack foods, salad dressings, including mayo and Miracle Whip, all breads,etc..  These are foods people consume a lot. Ripe soybeans are used in producing these oils.  All soy products are estrogen mimics. Their isoflavones have an effect on hormones..  Some say positive for women in menopause, not so for women taking birth control and negative in men, also. 

    Soy Is Controversial

    At best there is a question about whether or not soy products, including edamame should be eaten by men. There is as much information that states that it is detrimental to healthy testosterone levels as there is information that says that it is perfectly safe. As with anything, it is important to do your own research, talk to your health care provider and come to your own conclusions.

    Many of the sites that argue in favor of soy products in the diet are sponsored by soy manufacturers. This does make those claims questionable. It would be wise for anyone, man or woman, that was concerned about the consequences of too much soy in the diet to limit their intake of soy products or skip them entirely.     Does Edamame lower testosterone levels? At this time there is no conclusive evidence one way or another. It is important to have regular check ups, eat a variety of foods, and discuss your health concerns with your health care provider. Never eat an unfamiliar food or take a supplement just because someone else told you it was safe. Be proactive and take responsibility for your own health. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions.Soy products, including edamame, may lower testosterone if eaten in excessive amounts.
